I love the contrast between the Shanta Daisy’s formation of long elegant white petals and its sunshine yellow eye.
It makes a great display in garden borders and is good at attracting butterflies and bees.
An interesting plant, with its bright blue thistle-like cones of flowers
surrounded by ruffs of spiky bract that turn from silvery blue at the base to gold at the tips.
I found this beautiful specimen in a quaint little pond in Broomfield Park, Palmer’s Green.
